On July 9th, Katie Manchester held a huge yard sale for us at Keller Williams Realty in Gray. She received unbelievable amounts of donations and this fund raiser was a huge success.

July 5th, we attended the Little Italy Heritage Day. We sold license plate brackets and had a raffle drawing for a loon that was hand carved and painted by Dick and Pat Oliver. Betsy Kelley was the lucky ticket holder. I got to meet a lot of my wife’s family.
Maine Medical Center

On the morning of June 14th I woke to coughing up blood. I was then admitted to Maine Medical for my two week stay. I had to have some blood vessels cauterized in my lungs.
During my stay in the hospital, the New England Fire Chief show was held. A local firefighter went and set an informational table up for me.
New Gloucester Fire Department

On June 11th, we had a car wash at New Gloucester Fire Department. Another successful event and lots of fun was had by all.

On May 15th we held a walk-a-thon at the river walk in Auburn. It was a very raining and cold day. We had lots of committed people out to walk for us.

We went back to New York City on April 27th for another status appointment. The doctors said everything still looks great and keep up the good work. On May 5th I was back to see Dr. Zuckerman and all my lung function numbers were still the same.
