Well I was feeling crappy sense I got back from New York. I have had a fever, and the chills, I have been flat on my back sense I got back from New York. I called Dr. Z and he admitted me. My lung function was low and my chest was heavy. I came into Club Med and hope to get the same routine as before. I will keep you posted in a couple days.

Well, we met with the transplant doctor. He did his evaluation of me, and after listening to my lungs they have decided that I am still too healthy. They feel that I am sicker than the last time we had met but this is not the right time. He had asked how many hospitalizations I have had in the past year. I told them 5 times. He also told me that at anytime, if my doctors here feel that they need to take a new look at my case that they will. My father in law went with me this time, he wanted to see the hospital and meet the team. I go back to see them again in June

Well I spent the full two weeks in the Inn. I am feeling ok. I had a lung function of 36%. at time of discharge I need to make an appointment with Dr Z in a couple weeks. I am hoping that this stay will work and I stay out for a while. I am getting ready to go to New York and see the team again. I’ll keep you posted.

Well I had my breathing test and my lung function was 26%. That means I will get the usual two weeks of IV’s. I will be walking on the treadmill for the stay, and doing numerous breathing treatments and doing my vest. We are in hopes that this stay will keep my out for a while. I had to wait until Thursday to get my pic line put in. That is a real pain because the medication that I take through my IV is so strong that it causes my regular IV to give out after 2 or 3 doses. That means I need to keep getting stuck. The plan is to stay here for the full two weeks. Glad I got my laptop and F

Well I was feeling crappy so I called the Dr. He admitted me today. My chest was feeling heavy and wheezing. It has been feeling like that for a couple weeks. Well Amy and I went to meet with the team this week. We meet with the team and went to support group. After being evaluated they still say that I am too healthy. Although they do see a decline in my condition, they are still concerned. They were concerned that I am not able to maintain a proper lung function on my own. They also expressed to me that I need to walk for at least 30 minutes on the treadmill per day. That is so that the body will be strong enough to withstand the operation.
